LawFeed is a UK legal intelligence and continuing competence platform operated by Aethel Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Registered address: 82, Unit A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. Our service provides plain-English summaries of UK legal updates, quiz-based continuing competence logging, and continuing competence certificates at lawfeed.co.uk.
You must be at least 18 years old to use LawFeed. Our service is intended for UK legal professionals including solicitors, barristers, paralegals, and legal support staff.
LawFeed offers paid subscription plans (Individual, Professional, and Firm). All plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
After the trial ends, your chosen plan will be billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are displayed at the time of checkout and include VAT where applicable.
You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello@lawfeed.co.uk.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.
LawFeed is not an SRA-approved provider. Under the SRA's Continuing Competence framework (effective November 2016), solicitors are responsible for self-certifying their own learning and development. The SRA does not require continuing competence activities to be completed with an approved provider.
LawFeed continuing competence certificates are provided as records of structured learning and development activity to support your personal continuing competence record. They are not official accreditation documents. You are responsible for ensuring your learning and development activities meet your regulatory obligations.
We recommend retaining certificates alongside your own reflective notes as required by the SRA.

Firm plan subscribers may invite up to 10 team members. The firm account holder is responsible for all activity under their firm's account, including ensuring members use the service in accordance with these terms.
Firm admins may configure access permissions for their members. Removing a member immediately revokes their access.
All LawFeed content, branding, and platform design is owned by LawFeed. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
UK legal updates summarised on LawFeed are sourced from publicly available government and regulatory sources. Original legislative text remains subject to Crown copyright.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LawFeed is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on continuing competence certificates or legal update summaries.
Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us in that period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused subscription time.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of LawFeed after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
